The humanitarian crisis in Palestine was highlighted at the “Sa'di-i Shirazi” panel held at our university.
Our university's Caferilik Application and Research Center (CAMER) organized a panel on the great genius of the Persian language, Islamic scholar Sa'di-i Shirazi.

The program held at the Karaağaç Campus July 15 Martyrs Conference Hall was attended by our Rector Prof. Dr. Mehmet Hakkı Alma, provincial protocol members, NGO and press representatives, our academics, students, and citizens.
The program began with a moment of silence and the recitation of the Turkish National Anthem, followed by an opening speech delivered by our Rector, Prof. Dr. Mehmet Hakkı Alma.
In his speech, Rector Alma emphasized the need for unity in the Islamic world, stressing that the fundamental cause of the humanitarian tragedy unfolding in Palestine today is the conflicts among Muslims.
Rector Alma said, “Unfortunately, this atmosphere of discord among us has brought us to this point. Israel is not strong; our weakness makes them strong. While our brothers and sisters in Palestine are being subjected to genocide, the fact that some Islamic countries are holding festivals is a great shame for us. At this point, we must first look at ourselves.”
Following Rector Alma's speech, the panel discussion moderated by CAMER Director Alaattin Yanardağ began.
EHLADER President Kadir Akaras, in his speech at the panel He touched upon Sa'di-i Shirazi's world of beliefs. Prof. Dr. Murat Ali Karavelioğlu drew attention to Shirazi's place and importance in Turkish literature, while Dr. Lecturer Aydın Eryılmaz gave a talk on Shirazi's divan and works.
Finally, Assistant Professor Büşra Arslan Meçin discussed the mystical aspects of Şîrâzi.
