Presentation of a Book to Rector Prof. Dr. Mehmet Hakkı Alma

Our University Faculty of Science and Letters Department of Turkish Language and Literature Faculty Member Professor Murat Ali Karavelioğlu; his newly published, co-authored book "Commentaries on Ghazals from Divan Literaturepresented it to our Rector, Prof. Dr. Mehmet Hakkı Alma.

Professor Murat Ali KaravelioğluIn his statement about the book, he said it was prepared to help students and those interested in the field learn our culture and literature more easily and effectively. Prof. Dr. Karavelioğlu also emphasized that the selected texts are presented in both old and new scripts, translated into modern Turkish, annotated with extensive explanations, and include practice texts.

Professor Dr. Mehmet Hakkı Alma, who reviewed the book and expressed his appreciation for this effort to recall or learn our cultural codes, expressed his satisfaction with the presentation and wished for the continuation of such studies.

The book presentation ended after a commemorative photo was taken.
