Our university's Faculty of Science and Letters Vice Dean and Turkish Language Learning Application and Research Center (TÖMER) Director Prof. Dr. Murat Ali Karavelioğlu provided information about TÖMER to students at Iğdır Mehmet Murat İşler Social Sciences High School.
In the program, which attracted great interest from teachers and students, Karavelioğlu first provided information about our University's Faculty of Science and Literature, then shared TÖMER's mission and vision.
In his speech, Karavelioğlu emphasized the importance of using Turkish, one of the world's oldest and most established languages, beautifully, correctly, and effectively.
Karavelioğlu also provided information about the history of the Faculty of Arts and Sciences, its departments, undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral programs, and faculty members, and discussed the professional career opportunities available to graduates.
Continuing his remarks, Karavelioğlu touched on topics such as choosing a profession and pursuing an academic career, offering advice to students by sharing anecdotes from his own life.
Following Karavelioğlu's speech, the program continued with a question-and-answer session and concluded with commemorative photos being taken.
