Our university's Faculty of Science and Letters, Department of Turkish Language and Literature, Professor Murat Ali Karavelioğlu participated in the “TÜBİTAK Science Talks,” which aim to increase science communication in society by bringing together scientists, students, and teachers.
In this context, Prof. Dr. Karavelioğlu met with teachers at Iğdır Şehit Er Erdem Yüce Primary School and gave a lecture titled “How Should We Approach Our Classical Cultural Codes?”
At the conference, Karavelioğlu focused on the cornerstones of our culture, the formation and transmission of historical consciousness, and the origins of our artistic and scientific life, emphasizing their transmission to young people, students, and broad segments of society.
The conference, which emphasized that cultural codes should be conveyed to individuals at a young age in an age-appropriate manner and without overwhelming them through various anecdotes and storytelling, concluded after a question-and-answer session.
